Low Cost Setup for High Resolution Multiview Panorama Recording and Registration

Affordable consumer panorama solutions are still limited to low resolution

and synchronization for multiple cameras has to be done externally.

Professional equipment that provides high resolution recording and

synchronization is not widely available yet. In this paper we present a low

cost setup to record multiple high resolution panorama videos at the same

time. We perform an external synchronization. To allow further computer

vision algorithms to process these recordings the videos are adjusted and

aligned automatically by extracting exact camera positions.
