Realism-enhanced Omnidirectional Video in Virtual Reality

The goal of this research project is an overall more lifelike perception of omnidirectional video in VR display systems. For this purpose, visual perception effects are virtually recreated to increase the realism of the displayed content, and display parameters are adapted to our visual perception to increase the immersive effect of VR displays themselves.
